Cheap and cheerful 😁

Needs renovation and maintenance but it’s a decent size and location is decent.

Location was decent. It was a reasonable size. It would have been handy having the two bathrooms if they’d both worked.

Difficult to find and co-ordinate with the person who was supposed to be meeting us there. The person meeting us seemed annoyed and inconvenienced by our presence. Toilet seat was broken on arrival, luckily the person showing us the apartment and taking the damage deposit was still there and a couple of visits later to their credit this was sorted quickly. We noticed that the kitchen cupboard door was also hanging off and the person advised that he’d ordered a new hinge that would arrive either the following day or the day we left. (We weren’t contacted about this). We later discovered that the main bathroom shower didn’t work as the fixtures were broken and hanging off. That meant 6 people (and baby) had to use the ensuite shower which caused delays getting out in the morning and privacy issues. The ensuite shower wasn’t clean or in good repair and the shower door was broken and didn’t properly close. There weren’t enough items of glassware or crockery for us to have drinks and dinner at the same time. Cleaning wasn’t the best. Oven was full of grease and debris that set the fire alarm off when it was turned on to be pre-heated (hadn’t put anything in it ourselves yet). We didn’t used it again. The master double bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the springs were sharp and hurt my back, arms and legs. Luckily I’d packed my own pillows. Apparently the single beds were better. I was in a lot of pain. There was no provision for my baby and he rolled out of bed one night. We found bits of rubbish and items from previous guests. Check out was a bit of a pain. It was also a nightmare only having one key to the property. The car park that we had to pay to use only had spaces that were too small for our vehicle resulting in difficulty accessing our vehicle and parking. (I had to book Uber’s on three occasions as it was too much hassle).

Great location but really disappointing accommodation

Location

Had a grubby feel to it. Bath panel hanging off and an object left in bath. Bed really uncomfortable and place didn’t feel clean.

The mattresses could do with updating and you are lying on a bed of springs
