Cleaner than previous reviews had led me to expect and the staff were very pleasant when around. Reception was however closed quite a lot of the time, with a mobile number to contact in emergencies.
My first room was clean but unfortunately the heating didn’t work, a point I only noticed fairly late at night. I reported the fault the next morning and as they were unable to fix it they moved me to another room. This was also clean and I was willing to extend my stay for another night when it became clear I needed to remain in the area.
There is no food available on sight although there is no objection to you ordering from a delivery service. However, you need to make sure you will be supplied with cutlery as there is none available at the hotel (only wooded stirrers for tea/coffee).
