Bedroom was very comfortable and a large room. Shower in bath was an issue for us oldies but clean, good towels and everything you would need for a short stay.
Evening meal was ok not great. Also very loud in bar area due to wooden floors and no rugs as is the norm these days. Breakfast was very good in dining room and a lovely lady served us with the help of a young trainee. Both members of staff outstanding on the customer service front.

Very central for our travels in a lovely quiet village. Pleasant staff who couldn’t do enough for you.
We travelled with two Labradors and when we had our room , there was a package for the dogs consisting of a bowl, mat, blanket and Pooh bag. We had a terrace that the dogs were able to use, with a lockable back gate to go out into the community for walks, so you didn’t have to go though the hotel. Food was excellent!
Nothing to dislike!

Bed was comfortable, cooked part of breakfast done well, plenty of hot water and good water pressure
Incredibly dated and bordering on shabby. Smells stale. Desperately needs refurb/ decoration. Coffee at breakfast was undrinkable rubbish from an urn. Staff, polite but unengaged.
