Staff were awesome. Location was great with two subway stations nearby. The building is modern and kept in excellent shape. The room was large and comfortable.

Loved this Battery Park area location in South Manhattan! Spacious room with kitchenette and city views. Easy access by door codes (front entry and room). Rooftop guest pool and terrace with city and water views!
Would be nice to have earlier check-in, but Sonder provides baggage lockers for guests! So no complaints!

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, though I’m not entirely sure I’d choose this location again. The hotel is conveniently close to essential subway stops, making it easy to get around, and the area itself wasn’t bad.
The renovations Marriott has done are noticeable, but unfortunately, the walls were quite thin. I could hear the children in the room next to mine watching cartoons late into the night, which made it hard to rest. Another drawback was the slow check-in and check-out process—there was only one receptionist on duty, which created a long line and wait. More staff at the front desk would improve efficiency.
The bed was on the firmer side, not the most comfortable for me personally, though I recognize this is subjective. The gym was also much too small for a hotel of this size. On the brighter side, the rooftop amenities were a highlight, offering a great view. The only downside is that the pool (the only access point for the sunset view) closes before sunset, which feels like a missed opportunity.
There’s no breakfast provided—just coffee in the mornings—which I think should be reconsidered.
That said, the hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and overall it was a quality stay.
The roof was exceptional during the day and the hotel was clean!
