I was pleasantly surprised by the modern design of our room. High ceilings with cool geometric patterns were visually appealing and leant a sense of spaciousness. And, we didn't hear any of our neighbors, which was fantastic. It had a modern urban loft feel to it. The bedding was delightful too, and the shuttle was reliable. I highly recommend this hotel for an easy LAX stay.
No pull-up check in parking. They make you pay to park in the lot, even if you're just dropping someone off. It was a fairly major annoyance after a long day of travel. We had to drop off our rental car, so we just wanted to quickly drop off our bags at the hotel so we woudn't have to carry them with us when we walked back to the hotel. We had to pay to park in the big lot, walk over to reception, walk back, etc., even though it was just a few minutes. They have a very large driveway / entrance, they just have it blocked off so people can't use it.

Clean and convenient
The toilet wasn’t working, it had been repaired before we checked in, the top of the unit was off the tank and I refitted it, had to keep messing with the ballcock to make it work. Could we have gone and asked for another room… maybe they had one?? But it was 11.30 pm and we had been travelling for 19 hours and just wanted to sleep… so that’s what we did.

The breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable.
We had a terrible experience at check in starting with we had to wait two hours for our room because housekeeping was way behind. There was confusion with our reservation as the staff said our reservation was cancelled. Also, poor communication from the staff upon check in about the hotel.
