The painted ceiling is fun to look at.
The balcony is romantic.
The location couldn't be more central.
The place was not well cleaned.
Some furnitures / bathroom elements were a bit broken.
The overall quality of the room was on the cheap side.

Location was amazing.
Simple & comfortable for after long days out. Communal kitchen was a bonus.

Tastefull aestetics. Perfect location. Good kitchen facilities. Sweet cleaning lady.
No key in the safe. Plumbing challenges typical of Sicily. Some old mosquitoes should be cleaned off the walls. The lightswitch panel in the bathroom is hanging a bit loose from the wall.

Very very good location. You can see Quattro and Quinton Canto from our rooms, and great proximity to landmarks and restaurants/bars/shops.
For this price you also get private toilet, kitchen and private balcony with a BEAUTIFUL view which you really can’t beat.
Management was poor. We arrive our first night with no pillow case and a small stain on bedding and towels. There is no reception on site so you have to call/message the management team (they are not based locally), who then liaises with the local team. They only got back to us next morning so we have to spend a night without pillowcases, which I feel even for a budget B&B, is a minimum requirement. They also entered our room without letting us know (daily cleaning is not provided so we didn’t expect them to come in), but at least we got pillow case 🤷🏻♀️
We also requested extra toilet paper since we were staying for 5 nights and extra towels on our first day, but never got a reply despite the team saying that they would keep us updated - luckily we bumped into the cleaning crew in the morning so we could get some toilet paper.
I would definitely suggest bringing your own towels just in case they are not clean, you need extra, or in case bedding is missing.
Also be prepared to take out the trash - not a big deal, just be aware.
This place has great bones especially at this price, even though the management is a bit lacking. At this price tho… I will put up with it (just compare the price to other hotels in this area before you book)
