Loved the comfy bed
Interesting positioning of electrical sockets. Had to move bedside furniture access.

The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for a short break. The bar and restaurant area was friendly and welcoming. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
There was nothing we could find fault with during our stay.

This lovely pub was just what we wanted for a nights stay on Exmoor. It was very central for any direction. The food, dinner and breakfast was extremely good! The rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. We stayed in 2 King sized rooms. The pub had a large carpark. The Landlord and the staff were really friendly. We enjoyed good ale and wine. We would not hesitate to return one day.
We cannot think of anything we didn't like about the Rest and Be Thankful however, the weather could have been a little kinder!

Room was clean and bed comfortable.
Food was good.
The room was disappointing. It was down in a cellar, with a window about 6 foot from the floor. Measuring 2ft x 2ft with opaque glass.
Also the TV only had BBC 1 channel as there was no Wi-Fi signal and none of the staff had any idea how to remedy the situation.
