Perfect location in the centre of town and close to everything I needed

On business in Taunton opted for a smaller out of the way hotel it was a bit rundown and in my room room 2 it had damp water ingress marks on the ceilings smelt a bit musty but for one night ok, Its a very old building and requires money and time spending on it to get up to modern standards. Bedding was fresh and clean, real ale i bar good no evening meal on mondays had to go across the road
DAMP SPOTS , Musty smell

We thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome, the comfortable room with crisp clean linen. The bar was friendly with a good selection of local beer and cider.
We had dinner in the restaurant which featured local beef and lamb. A particularly good breakfast which featured, joy of joys, Cornish kippers among a wide range ofalternatives. .
Nothing. Plenty of parking too.
