Great location and comfortable room at the end of a long trip. Reception was attentive and helped with luggage.😊

A fantastic location in the literary quarter, with lots of character. Room was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast arrangement with excellent local cafes.

The location was the best! In a fantastic neighbourhood, bars, restaurants and independent shops in the area of letters - the literary area; historic, and within a 20 minute walk of some great sights and places - Atocha station; botanic gardens, El Retiro Parc. Close to Puerto del Sol, Plaza Mayor, 3 main art galleries; We liked the small balcony, decor was quirky, and everything was very clean. The staff were very attentive and helpful. They called a taxi and took our luggage up and down the stairs.
There was no lift and 58 stairs to climb/come down. The description does say no lift and on third floor, but we just didn't anticipate how many stairs when booking. The room was small and could do with better lighting as we found it quite dim.
