There was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great and it was easy to get to the sights.
By day 4, the breakfast had become repetitive. The staff at the restaurant were very nice and helpful though. A very small issue on an otherwise amazing stay.

Great location in a quiet area. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Having access to a washing machine and dryer free of charge was a fantastic bonus and very convenient. If the laundry facilities get busy, there is also a coin-operated laundromat just around the corner. The hotel is also very close to a 7-Eleven, which is handy for picking up snacks and essentials. Overall, a comfortable stay in a convenient location with excellent service.

We liked that the hotel was close enough to the river and Gion district yet in a quiet area. There is coffee and tea available 24 hours. The breakfast was not your typical breakfast. It was beautifully prepared and served. We had to catch an early train on our last morning and were not able to have breakfast at the hotel. However, we asked the evening prior if they would be able to pack it to take with us. They packed it and had it ready when we departed. Thank you.
We struggled with our air conditioner for a few days. Finally, we asked about why it kept turning off like it was on a timer. They came quickly and took care of it. However, when the air conditioner goes off there is a musty smell.
