With its wooden walls and pleasing public areas, the hotel is attractive. The locations was within walking distance of most places we wanted to visit, and close to the subway. The breakfast was outstanding and overall our room was quite comfortable.
I was surprised that we were charged 1300 yen for having the staff call us a taxi.

Great location walkable to the main points of interest in Hiroshima, which made it easy to explore the area. Excellent breakfast at the restaurant downstairs (make sure to arrive early for it). Room was a good size. Huge and comfortable bathtub!
The laundry machines were not at all effective at drying a small load of clothes (even by normal standards for the combined washer/dryers at Japanese hotels). Considering all the other amenities, this one was lacking. It’s a bit confusing that the reception is on the top floor in the rooftop bar. Also, it seemed like they were playing AI-generated music in the rooftop bar which was strange.

Location
Coffee situation and no decaf coffee. Also staff not very helpful with taxis and restaurant downstairs unable to accommodate us. Roof could have been a bit cleaner. No room between bed and wall so there were crumbs of some sort there.
