SCAM

From the moment we arrived the property was smelly. We didn’t even stay there as it was freezing and the radiators were not working. The garage provided was wrong. And they don’t even reply to messages.

PLEASE DONT BOOK. BE AWARE ITS A SCAM THE OHOTOS DONT MATCH THE PROPERTY.

Booked as the location was nearby to the venue we attended. Parking is secure underground and the Belgica metro station is around the corner. Not much for restaurants or coffee within walking distance though there are a couple supermarkets nearby. Communication was good when we had an issue checking in, though the stock instructions could have been more up to date.

The apartment is in need of a deep clean and a bit of maintenance. The toilet situation upstairs really isn't suitable and wouldn't be ok for more than one person/couple. Kitchen amenities were not well maintained; the kettle was full of dirty water.

I wouldn't stay here again.

It was easy to get the keys and into the apartment. It had everything listed - a washer/dryer, a refrigerator, beds, etc. It is also pretty convenient to the Belgica subway stop.

This place just needs 200 Euros investment and it would be pretty good. The balcony door lock is broken. I guess not a huge deal since it's on the 5th floor. The washer is a washer and dryer...it does both in one shot. Some instructions for this in English would be nice. Our clothes came out very hot and a bit shrunk. The bottom floor toilet broke and kept filling. We contacted the owner who couldn't do anything until after our stay. The kitchen is pretty thin on utensils and dishes...no bowls. The curtains are too long and drag on the floor (I didn't care, but others in my group did). The window shade upstairs is torn, so there is no blocking out the light when trying to sleep. The toilet upstairs can't be used in private. It's housed in a closet with an accordion door that goes right in front of the toilet, and it's between the two bedrooms...so get comfortable with the others in your group. There was one fan downstairs, but nothing upstairs for the other 2 bedrooms. So, buy a fan, a set of dishes, fix the shade, and put down some instructions. Seriously, 200 euros, and the experience would be much better. Also, the area around the apartment is sparse, so not much available for food.

Besides the stay, the service by the property owner to handle travellers is important. and they were giving crap service

We like that the place was accessible, 7 minutes walk from the main train station. Average facilities , clean and just nice to sleep.

The experience to communicate with the owner was terrible. The property did not even gave any self-check in instructions, we had to figure out how to decode the keypad just to find the keys and also, when we went to the floor. None of the property has door numbers so we had to guess and tried the keys on the apartment door. we could have gotten into trouble, but we needed a place to stay, and this could have been avoided if the owner actually responded. We had to also figure out the wifi password. Again, after staying for 5 days there was no response at all!! I do not wish other travellers to experience the same thing. We were ‘lucky’ to be able to decode, but I am pretty sure it does not happen to everyone. It was beyond frustrating even by asking booking.com to help, they couldn’t.
