Pls improve the entry process

As a Japanese family, we found this apartment to offer a wonderful space in an excellent location.

The only drawback is the unclear entry process. The written guidance and photos are insufficient and, for first-time users, can only be described as unhelpful. Please imagine arriving in the cold winter evening, carrying heavy luggage, in the dark, and facing a door that will not open. In such a situation, the only way to seek help is via messages that are not responded to quickly. The instructions should clearly include: a clear photo of the building entrance; an explanation that there are two security points for building (a wooden door and a steel gate); and a note that after unlocking the room door, the button must be turned like a thumb-turn to actually open it. Italians or Europeans may be familiar with this system, but many guests are not. I saw a review mentioning that someone broke the lever, and I completely understand how that could happen. If it is improved, I’d like to give 10.

Pay attention, they want to ask for payment after checkout for an already existing damage

The accommodation and the location were OK I gave this point because the owner wanted to scam us.

The checkin was automatic, and we could not enter the room upon arrival (around 15:30). I tried to call the owner, on both numbers I found on the confirmation and in the email, but both phones were switched off, it was impossible to reach anyone. Then I realised based on the email we received after the online checkin that we are unable to enter the room before 17:00! As we had an appointment I left my bag at some neighbour who was very helpful and came back later. Upon return luckily the checkin with the cellular worked. As soon as we opened the door the door handle remained in our hand. (photo) After checkout, today we got a message from the host that we need to pay for the door handle which is inacceptable and I'm sure it's a scam!

Quiet historic apartment . Centrally located

Historic apartment and quiet .Clean and well equipped .I would go there again and recommend it to others.

Difficult to find . Perhaps a YouTube video leading up to the outside and inside doors would help. The double bed and sofa bed are just divided by a cupboard.

Nice place, but problematic hosts

- very good equipment in the apartment - nice neighborhood - cleanliness - good and fast Internet

- only the option of opening the apartment via cell phone is available: If your cell phone dies at 2 a.m., you sleep on the street - there is no option to leave luggage after check-out - the owner required sending photos of the ID card via his website (no booking.com) when there was no option to cancel the reservation - very loud noises at 4 a.m., as if someone was throwing stones - unpleasant smell of towels and insufficient amount of toilet paper
