Everything was great overall, except that we were expected to clean up and remove the linens ourselves before leaving. This felt a little unusual, as you generally expect these things to be included in the price you pay for your stay.

It was a relaxing weekend in the perfect location. The park was good addition for the kids.
The check in and out times could be better. I felt travelling a distance for 2 nights and not able to check in until 4 then having to be out between 8-10 is a quick turnaround. Having been and used lodges a few times I understood this during covid but would have hoped that may have changed a little over time. The only negative I have to say though as lodges are lovely and well maintained and as always had a fantastic stay.

"We had a lovely time, all four of our kids loved being there. Perfect family holiday spot, tremendously well appointed, and Glenda was lovely."
