Good location close enough to Aviemore for access but far enough away for a peaceful time
Bit dated and needed a ‘deep’ clean, especially the shower cubicle which had black mould on base. Also, although the small print stated that we needed to pay for electricity, and there was a meter reading on a bit of paper at the start of the stay, the £50 we paid at the end was not as transparent as it should have been as there was no end reading provided. Instead, we were told the fee and that it had been ‘read’ by the proprietor.

Excellent location and price, very easy check in, lovely staff. Clean facility, exactly what you want for a nice country break.
Not too much equipment for a self catering cottage, could have done with a decent knife, or some baking trays, no washing machine but you can go to the majn house and pay for laundry.
For a bonus it might have been nice to provide some basics like salt, pepper, tea or coffee, but for the low price I would definitely accept it. Quite cold shower, and just for awareness you have to pay the electricity bill at the end for any of the heating you use.
