Huen hug is in a prime location near South Gate! Steps away from great spas, restaurants, and fabulous markets. The room was clean, had nice storage, strong ac, good water pressure, and the hotel is very quiet. The staff is wonderful!
My primary complaint is the beds. I stayed in room 201 and my dad stayed in 202. The beds in my room were hard as rocks and I had to modify the bed with throw pillows and extra blankets. The beds in my dads room were a little better, so maybe it just depends on which room you stay in?

This was a nice property. It’s in an interesting location on the south east of the old city. There is a constant night market every night just a few minutes walk away. And a massive night market once a week. There is an awesome gym about 5 minutes walk. There are lots of good restaurants and coffee shops close by. The staff are very nice.
The room was a bit small for me for a week but there is a kitchenette and tables downstairs to use if you want to eat inside

Location, near Chiang Mai Gate in the old city was great. Staff was very friendly. It is a simple hotel but very nice if you are not looking for luxury

Location and staff.
Room was very clean.
Tiny room, bed in a corner, disgusting old stained chipped discoloured toilet seat. Big old style key fob with after hours access fob on it so had to carry this around with me. Not practical.
