Lots of children- too noisy. should be more rigid and specific about the laundry with the guests. A certain geust emptied our laundry from the washing machine by himself, threw it aside with indifference and the staff was to nice and easy with him. Wasn't a nice experience at all. Should put there bigger signs about can and cannot do!

This is an amazing place to stay while visiting Kyoto. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a very casual atmosphere- there are plenty of recreational facilities that you can just use in the pyjamas provided by the hotel.
The location of the hotel can be either good or bad depending on what you want to visit in Kyoto.
The breakfast has very few (almost none) western options - omelette or boiled eggs would be a great addition. We didn’t like that we had to pay for parking.

This hotel had a wonderful chill vibe, being near the park and with friendly welcoming staff. The rooms were larger than other hotels and very modern. The food at the hotel restaurant was great. The free drinks and snacks area was a great idea! We loved our stay here and felt very at home while away on holiday.
Nothing!

Near park which was great for kids and also near train station. Easy walk into Kyoto station
Additional usage fee for children; activities in the hotel (eg games room) closed during day which was not great; regimented breakfast time slots and poor quality breakfast buffet options
