A stunning setting that looks as if it came straight out of 'One Thousand and One Nights'.
A small and quiet hotel with 17 rooms, well-located on the West Bank situated on the Nile.
The on-demand boat service was absolutely fantastic! You enjoy a relaxing ride across the Nile, which lies right in front of the hotel. My son and I (his mother) always had the boat to ourselves—our own private cruise! For example, the boat took us to Luxor Temple and in the evening to a restaurant. We never had to wait more than 10 minutes.
There should be more light in the room, especially in the bathroom.

We arrived at Djorff Palace by the hotel’s free ferry after a very full few days on a Nile cruise. It was a wonderful place to unpack and unwind. We spent a lot of our time just relaxing by the pool, watching the boats on the Nile.
Djorff is immediately accessible to the temples and attractions of the West Bank via the ferry, but without the noise and the hassle. It is a little oasis of peace. We found the staff friendly and helpful and the rooms unique and beautiful, built in the old Egyptian style.
We also really enjoyed taking time to walk along the rural West Bank from the hotel. There you can see well tended crops, local villagers, water buffalo and birds, and get a glimpse of the real Egypt.
We would definitely recommend a stay at the Djorff Palace, and would have stayed longer if we had time.

Fantastic palatial building, including pool and gardens. the room (Opal) was spacious and clean, with great terrace, which, sadly, was not of much use due to heat and flies. The breakfast was good and staff very friendly and helpful.
Very hard mattress made sleeping quite a challenge. The room could do with tea-coffee facilities. The hotel restaurant serves fairly bland and uninspiring food.

It’s beautiful and quiet.
British owner said “f*** off” when I asked about where I can turn in laundry for laundry service. It was very weird. Then a tour guide told me that she is notoriously abusive to staff and a known racist. If I’d known these things in advance, I wouldn’t have booked here.
