The owner was very welcoming.
The room was spacious and warm. There was everything you would wish after a long day driving, comfortable furniture, tea, coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was lovely with an excellent shower.
Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
Nothing!

This is one of the best places I've stayed. The house is beautifully situated. It's obvious that the proprietors care about the little details that make a place feel cozy and comfortable. We stayed in the twin bedroom, which was spacious and light. The lighting is soft, the curtains fit the windows and keep the heat in. The entire place has been designed with thought to soft, natural aesthetics. The beds are comfortable and have large pillows and actual wool throw blankets! The bathroom is immaculate with a rain shower and excellent soap/lotion. We were greeted by Ross, who is friendly and full of great local knowledge. The breakfast is delicious. I will absolutely be coming here again.
My one note would be that we didn't enjoy the early-morning talk radio playing in the dining room. It was jarring and annoying. Either some kind of low, unobtrusive music or nothing would have suited us better.
