This beautifully equipped apartment is centrally located near the center of the quaint Hakone town and is walking distance of the rail station.
The kitchen, bathrooms, climate control and bedding are high quality. The large washing machine is a nice bonus. There are 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets, but both on the main floor. Another flight up is a the second bedroom on a loft with a low ceiling.
The host was communicative and professional.
Access to tour unit entails a steep, long and narrow staircase which was difficult to navigate with luggage.
The second loft bedroom has a wall which partially opens to the main bedroom which minimizes privacy.
For those who are light sleepers, noise is audible outside.

Great location. Lovely apartment, spacious and with everything we needed. 7 Eleven a couple of doors down and MPHAS coffee shop around the corner for great breakfast
It was all good. There are two flights of narrow stairs so may be difficult for some people. Not a problem at all for us though
