The hotel staff were all professional and pleasant - from the girls at breakfast to the house keeping staff and the evening servers. The evening meal was up to 5 courses with generous portions and sometimes had live music which was nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal, the food was good 👍
The location is a little rural; we enjoyed having a car to explore beyond the local area. As others said the private pool water was very cold as permanently in the shade due to the hotel orientation, I don’t think this room was worth the extra money as the rooms with non pools had sun on their balcony instead!

The food is excellent for half board, with great options for breakfast, a 5 course menu for dinner and attentive and fast service from the exceptional staff.
While not beachfront, the sister Pilot Beach resort is within minutes drive, so that you can have an amazing lively beach and a quiet pool to choose between, depending on your mood.

The staff were all courteous and couldn’t do enough to help you. Nothing was too much trouble- thank you to the team. When we had a problem with our balcony, it was rectified promptly. The breakfast was great. We liked the greenery and privacy around the pool and bar.
We stayed 6 nights and our bed was never changed in that time which I would have expected. The pool surround showed lack of maintenance eg. pool ladders and some planks around the pool were loose.
