Antonio's House

The location is a few minutes walk to the beach and town centre.

I stayed here 10 years ago when Antonio lived there ( his hotel and his home). He greeted us, showed us to our room, introduced his staff, showed us the terrace and bar area and explained that guests paid for drinks by putting money in a trust box. He was proud of his business and staff and the hotel reflected this. Simply decorated, but with a feeling of quality and care. The hotel now has different owners/management.. Through WhatsApp messages I understood that there wasn’t a 24 hour reception. At the property, I was instructed to call a number, the gate was unlocked automatically and the person on the phone guided me to my room. No check in ( or check out ) The only information I was given was a taxi number that I asked for. The reception area and my room were fine, clean but not so well decorated or with furnishings to call it “ boutique’. The small terrace would have been pleasant if I could have enjoyed sitting out, but the sofa had been left out in rain and was very dirty. This is not a bad hotel, it is much like any other 3 star hotel in Sitges ( I have stayed in many). It is a shame that it now seems faceless, without an identity. It has lost it’s personality and the care. A ‘boutique’ hotel has style and quality and a good hotel has a caring staff. The staff here maybe had better things to do with their time?.

Great location - very central, but still quiet Nice breakfast

Guesthouse/hostel feel - not many things in the room, but the staff is helpful so they try to organise if something is needed

Customer service on point, treated with care. Rooms are very clean and comfortable away from the hustle and bustle of town,

No reception area and the bathroom had a little smell.

The lady on site at breakfast was very helpful. She had Google Translate to help her communicate with us. Breakfast was continental, help yourself to food in a fridge.

We couldn't get in, there was no-one on site. Despite checking in the day before there was no record of our names, because someone in the office made the booking. After gaining entry, we had to phone a number to find out where our rooms were. It was very confusing to get to the room, there were no nice facilities like tea or coffee in the room. Breakfast room was hard to find and not marked clearly, fortunately we found others and followed them.
