The location was excellent. It was very clean. The negative points were two. Room was extremely tiny (104) and no private toilet but to be fair, I was aware of this at booking stage. So no surprises. Also, the fact that room was tiny didn't have much impact since I didn't spend much time in hotel.
No private toilet and room rather claustrophobic.

Clean and efficiently designed
All nice and new.
Lot’s of building activity during the day. Could get warm without climate control.

It’s very close to Centraal station. It was priced about right for what you get for the money and in comparison ton other property nearby. If you want a 5 star experience, look elsewhere, but if you need a comfortable bed for the night on Damrak with hot running water and a comfortable bed, it’ll do.
It’s being renovated and it is what it is - a small hotel with a couple of rooms for people like me who just want to be close to the centre and need a bed for the night.
