a repeat stay for me: excellent hostel in terms of staff, facilities, location, comfort.
an advantage is that the rooms are all away from the street so are quiet - compared to some other hostels where the rooms face onto the street
bag storage is a good service - but the bags need to get a name label to be stated on retrieval, otherwise any bag/s could be taken

Cranky Crocs Hostel is easily one of the best stops on my Colombian journey! The wooden interior and beautiful courtyard give it so much charm. I specially loved the glass ceiling in the sitting area : watching the rain fall through it gives you a wonderful, philosophical feeling.
The amenities are great: plenty of workspace, comfortable beds, and they actually give you two pillows (a total luxury for a hostel!). There are plenty of clean toilets and hot showers throughout the building, so you never have to worry about waking anyone up early in the morning. Their cafe is excellent too—don't miss the espresso!
Location-wise, it’s close to everything: transport, restaurants, cafes, and within 400
Meter to few kilometers of downtown museums (hold
Museum, Botero Museum ) and the Monserrate station. It’s the perfect balance of a relaxed atmosphere and a highly positive vibe.
The staff truly embody a "smiling and helpful" attitude. Special thanks to Catalina, morning shift girl, the wonderful lady in the cafe, and the gentleman working midnight—you all went above and beyond. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Bogota!
This is a constructive suggestion: internet speed in other part of the hostel is very slow or no connection. Few google mesh routers can solve the issue

excellent hostel: good location, good security, attentive staff, nice common spaces, guest kitchen, cafe-bar
single bed dorm: comfy and quiet, locker, light, outlet - but no airflow so gets stale during night
many eating places nearby
easy walk to historic centre
- hostels need to have checklist so that all staff tell guests same message of facilities - otherwise missed: where multiple toilets, bar-cafe hours, mention wifi, guest kitchen
- very kind that bags can be left in locked room at hostel while travelling, but there is no identification system - at minimum a name tag should be put on bag, and when a person wants to claim a bag they should state a name to be matched.

Bed was big and the shower was good.
The noise. The slamming of doors in the corridor gets annoying.
