Wonderful stay overall: the game drives were well organised and the driver definitely knew his stuff. A very boutique and special stay: there are only a handful of guest rooms (ours was charming, clean and cozy - couldn’t have wanted more), the food is great and service overall warm and friendly.
For this price class (high!) I’d have expected a bit more attentiveness from the staff serving in the restaurant. It was sometimes rather a challenge to get their attention. Here and there the flawless attention to detail one would expect for this price was missing: having to struggle and search for a member of staff for a pool towel, for instance. And some fittings on the buildings (eg door handles etc) being loose or having seen better days. Nothing that makes the stay bad, but small details that would have made it truly perfect.

Eine Lodge in einer phantastischen Lage, mit außergewöhnlich herzlichem Personal, unglaublichem Essen und einer Atmosphäre, in der man sich jederzeit wohl gefühlt hat.

Food was excellent, Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice to have had two diff guides as you got a diff prospective from each
I did say my wife was diabetic, and they did not really offer anything to accommodate her, say for desserts, i.e., were they offered sweet things UNTIL we again highlighted it on day 2, they did not try to accommodate her. Otherwise, the rest of the meals were excellent.
