Good value for money. Clean and comfortable accommodation with no frills. Newly renovated. Nice beds. Ok and convenient breakfast. 24h reception is a big plus when arriving at inconvenient hours (like due to flight delays). They are friendly and service-minded too! Luggage storage available for a fee. Walking distance to City Center, Old Town, restaurant street Rue Bonaparte/Place Garibaldi and various public transport.
Breakfast (not included) feels a bit pricey. On the other hand, Nice is expensive, so eating elsewhere would probably cost the same or more. But the food is good and it saves a lot of time to eat at the hotel, so not really anything to compain about. However, there is no water kettle in the room, and no glasses/cups in the room. (The supplied plastic single-use cups in the bathroom do not count since they were so flimsy they broke just by unwrapping them).
8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
- Super friendly and helpful staff
- Clean, modern room with a great bathroom
- Good location (only 2–3 tram stops to the old town)
- Limited breakfast selection
- No solo traveler discount
- Noisy construction work opposite my window (obviously out of the hotel’s control)
Verdict: Despite a few drawbacks, I would definitely return if I can't find a cheaper alternative.

Cleanliness and well maintained. The room was spacious and represented good value for the price.
An adversarial attitude at reception. Notices warning guests in relation to negative behaviour is not a good advert for the hotel. Also, taking a deposit from the guest for security demonstrates a lack of trust. Without guests the hotel wouldn’t function or indeed exist.
