The décor was lovely. The breakfast was great.
The room was not quiet. The walls were too thin so I could hear all the noise from the rooms upstairs and through the corridors. There was no bath. The room was quite small and basic for something rated 5 stars. There was also no biscuits!

The location, very quiet village yet close enough to towns like Settle and Skipton. Pub was cosy with a real fire. Nice and cosy on the cold evenings. Nice comfortable rooms.
Our shower could have had a shelf in it for your shower gel as there was nowhere to put your bottle other than on the floor. Could have done with a couple of hooks, for coats, on the back of the door.

The food exceeded expectations by some way, everything was utterly delicious. The room was beautiful. The bar was very busy and as we had dogs we had to eat in the bar, it was pretty noisy and that was slightly off putting, the staff coped well with the busyness but service could have been quicker if there were more staff maybe.
