Great location. Interesting location to stay , plenty to do walking distance to Beach, shops, restaurants, Port, buses. nice old walled city to visit with a market on certain days. Bike hire near and bike storage. Good breakfast , good choices of food in the evening . Reasonable Bar . Two pools . Extremely helpful staff on reception. Good value for money. Would return.
Nothing I didn't like , I would have liked a bigger Gym and more importantly to be "open before breakfast" I don't see what the problem is it could easily be done . It's about 40mins by car/ taxi ๐ from the Airport. By coach with a tour operator it's about 2 hours, bit off putting thumb ๐. Local bus from airport is one hour ๐ ๐๐. I'm glad I did the north for a change.

The location was great, as well as the staff and breakfast buffet. I found the bed very comfy and the size of the room was very good. When I asked about breakfast to go on the last day, they gave me some things (but more about that in the improvements section). The cocktails at the pool were cheap and a big selection to choose from. The shower was good as well. I had quite an early check in at 13:00, which was a pleasant surprise.
The room was very noisy. I could hear the evening entertainment as if they were playing right outside my door. I had one of the first rooms in the hallway, so people walked by there a lot and made lots of noise. Closing the door to my room when leaving the room was also very loud (due to the handle mechanism) and I was afraid of waking up guests when I had to leave at 6am, but honestly, I heard more doors close this loudly. There's no smoking allowed in the hotel, which is good in my option. However, all the smokers were situated in front of the hotel, right under my balcony, so opening the balcony doors would result in smoke getting into my room, so I wasn't able to enjoy the balcony or fresh air in my room. When I checked in, I asked if I could get breakfast to go on my last day and they said they'd arrange something. However in the evening before I left, I asked just to be sure and there was no note of me requesting this. They would however send someone up ASAP to deliver something. What I got was an apple, a chocolate cake roll, an unprepared tosti bikini, and a moldy peach. I only took the first 2 with me, but wasn't very happy. If the hotel would do some sound proofing, I feel like it would make the stay really great. Maybe I just got really unfortunate with my room.

Excellent location โ close to the beach, restaurants and cafรฉs. You can walk to Alcรบdia Old Town. We arrived with a rental car โ there's a large free public car park right next door. We drove around the island every day, and when we came back we could always find a parking spot. Very good breakfast! There was live entertainment every evening, so when we returned from dinner we could enjoy the music performances. Reasonable prices at the hotel bar. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff were friendly, and we were served a welcome drink at check-in.

2 rooms were OK being oin the 3rd floor but 2 rooms on the first floor (especially one of them were really small and either had no outlook or were so overlooked as to make it unlikely to ever open the curtains.
Wifi at the ends of corridor on 3rd floor a bit flakey
Breakfast was expansive and covered just about all you could need
Bar was OK but a bit souless - the hotel tried with a disco on one night and a singer another) but it didnt attract much / any attention and the demographic was never going to be up doing their thing.
Reception staff were very very good, very helpful indeed.
Rooms on 1st floor - one "subteranean" and the other virtually had loungers by the pool on the "balcony"
