The staff were superb and very welcoming. The young woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful and the woman running the breakfast was WONDERFUL! This lady went out-of-her way to make us feel like family. She even assisted me with my terrible French and taught me new words and phrases. The location was at least a "10" as it was right around the corner from the Eiffel tower and sidewalk cafes. As a bonus, the metro was right across the street so we traveled all over Paris with ease. We'd DEFINITELY stay here again.
The carpeting on the stairs was fixed with duct tape, but otherwise the hotel was decorated very nicely.

Location (for my purposes of needing to visit the Australian Embassy)
It was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced for Parisien
Hotels.
The time it took to check-in!!
It truly was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I arrived after a long flight from
Australia and went to the reception desk. There was, I assume, a couple booking in
although the only conversation I overheard was that they were asking advice about restsurants.
The receptionist went on and on and on, repeating himself over and over again as to why they
should go to such and such a restaurant while i stood there without acknowledgement.
Eventually when he had finished his spiel with the couple which included promises that he would pay for their meal
If they did not enjoy their meal, I approached the desk only
to be told that the people in
the foyer were ahead of me!
Why didnt he tell
me this, dog-tired, as I stood behind the couple with whom
he was having a very convivial
conversation more suited to a concierge than a receptionist?
Never again!
