This historic property was nicely renovated and felt like an oasis of calm not far from the heart of Santiago. The aesthetic of exposed stone with modern fixtures is quite appealing. I had a single room, and it was well laid out for one person even though it was small. Staff was friendly and the location provided a good base for exploring Santiago after finishing the Camino.
I had a massage that was just OK. I know that varies a lot with who you get and even the day, and I also didn't use the spa, so hopefully your experience with that aspect of the place is better. I would still stay here again, though.

Great location - 10 mins walk from the cathedral. Quiet street. Comfortable beds. Very friendly & helpful staff on reception (we were able to leave our luggage for a few hours on our last day before leaving for the airport, which was much appreciated).
Nothing to add here. There are no breakfast facilities in the hotel (though we were aware of this when we booked), but there are several cafes very close. Didn't use the spa / jacuzzi, so can't comment on this. Worth noting that access to this is an extra charge for 1 hour booking (but again, we were aware of this when we booked).
