Doable for the price if you’re just needing a roof over your head.

Location of property is good. Walking distance of 10–30 min pending on where you’re going 10 min to vaci uta, 20 min walk to St Steven Basilica, 50 min walk to Hero’s Square. Pictures you see posted on property’s staged showing the nicer part of property. Noticed pictures do not feature the old & dated kitchen & bathroom esp the standing is weird w/shower door being translucent.

Floor, kitchen & bathroom tiles & fixtures are worn down. Beds are comfortable. 2nd room near kitchen’s less ventilated.

An unbeatable blend of festive warmth, convenience and toptier hospitality that made it unforgettable

A Perfect Family Winter Escape in the Heart of Budapest! Our family (3 adults and 2 kids) spent a magical week at this apartment on Szép utca 5 during the December holidays, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Location: 10/10 The apartment is situated in the 1053 district, which is arguably the best spot for a holiday visit. We were steps away from the best Christmas markets, the Danube, and excellent transport links, yet the street itself felt peaceful and safe. Being so central made it easy to pop back to the apartment when the kids got cold or needed a break. The Apartment: The space was incredibly clean, cozy, and warm—which is exactly what you need after a day of exploring Budapest in the snow! Even with five of us, it never felt cramped. The layout worked perfectly for a family, and the heating kept us comfortable throughout the week. The Value: For such a central location and the high quality of the stay, the price was exceptional. It is rare to find a place this spacious and well-maintained in the heart of the city that doesn't break the bank during the peak holiday season. The Host: A huge thank you to the owner! He was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to be helpful, offering local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Their hospitality truly added to the festive spirit of our trip. If you’re planning a trip to Budapest, especially for the holidays, stay here! We would return in a heartbeat.

Convenient, clean, comfortable stay

Location is great for visitors/tourists - on the main pedestrian-only street (Vaci utca) with many restaurants, bars, and shops. Two blocks from Central Market Hall and a quick walk to a metro stop and the 100E express airport bus.

The bed only had a bottom sheet and blanket - additional sheets would have been nice.

Totally satisfied.

Very central. Close to transit, close to Market, close to River. The street is a major tourist street so there are many options for eating but the apartment itself is sheltered from the crowds. This two bedroom unit was very comfortable with a tiny but well stocked kitchen. We would stay again.

Central location. Place was fair.

The internet was not working (connects but signal is very very poor) and this was problematic as one of us had to actually work while there. Had a phone call with the host beforehand who shouted to me on the phone(!!)just because I wanted to verify how we’ll get the keys to the place which made the whole experience quite stressful. The location on the main website is NOT the same for all properties which is misleading.
