Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Service in all areas was amazing. We had a remedial massage with Suzete and Melina which was the best I have had in 45 years. Dinner was amazing and so was the service.
That we had to leave😕

The old part of the hotel is gorgeous. Stunning grounds and location perfect to get into Coimbra. Staff at breakfast very friendly.
Some staff not as friendly. The pools were not open all the time which was frustrating. The Turkish bath was not working either. Cleaners left lots of their trollies and equipment in front of rooms and difficult to negotiate

This was a wonderful oasis in a busy city, far enough away to be quiet and residential but we could still walk to the city centre.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was clean, bed comfortable. Quiet location.
I felt the property was very tired. It needs some work. The gardens were all over grown and lots of weeds. The pool had green on the steps. The place would be amazing with a bit of an upgrade. Expensive for what you got. I was in the spa room.
