The location was very convenient for visiting Venice. Public transport is about a 5-minute walk away, so getting to Venice and coming back in the evening was easy. Bus or train takes you there by 20 minutes. We also liked the neighborhood. We returned quite late at night and felt safe walking back to the hotel. We had previously stayed near Mestre train station, where we didn't feel nearly as comfortable walking around after dark. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well throughout our stay. We also didn't have any problems with noise from neighboring rooms. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and communication in English was easy. Breakfast was satisfying overall. There was a pretty good selection of pastries and desserts, while the savory options were more limited — mainly eggs with bacon, yogurt with toppings, and salad. The food tasted good and was enough for me, although some people might find the selection a little limited.
The main downside for me was the value for money. We paid around €150 per night for two people during a September weekend, which felt quite expensive for what the hotel offers. The room was good and comfortable, but nothing fancy, and overall I wouldn't consider the hotel a true 4-star experience. To me, it felt closer to a solid 3-star hotel. Breakfast was fine and tasted good, but the selection of savory food could definitely be better. At around €100 per night, I think the hotel would offer much better value. If the price works for you, though, I would still recommend staying here — especially because getting to and from Venice is very convenient.

The location was the best part of this hotel and it why we booked it. The tram stop is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and it was 1 short stop into the city centre. We were here for 2 nights. The size of our room was good, we are in Italy for 3 weeks with a lot of luggage so space was important. The staff were also friendly.
We found the breakfast poor. Mainly cakes and pastries. They had some scrambled eggs and bacon but the bacon wasn't nice, more like shredding fried ham which was so greasy. The fruit was tinned. Just disappointing. We also found the hotel were a bit stingy with the bedding. One sheet and one very thin pillow. We needed to request and additional two pillows each to make it feel like one. And when we asked for a duvet we were told it was too early in the season. Blankets are in the room but they were old and itchy so it was a slightly chilly night in the room despite it still being hot in September. Worst part of the room was the shower. The shower head was the size the palm of my hand. Little pressure and it went hot and cold. This place was fine for a 1 night stay, we were there for two and I was glad to get to the next destination on our trip.
