Well located in the pretty village of Cley, we stayed one night and enjoyed dinner and an excellent breakfast. We walked from the Harnser to the beach on the boardwalk through the marshes, stunning. Comfy beds, all very clean and parking on site. Recommend.

The room and en suite was very aesthetically pleasing, the soap and toiletries smelt lovely (think they are from a local shop!) The chef at the restaurant downstairs was lovely and let us know when he was leaving so we could park our car by the hotel again!
When we arrived the room smelt incredibly strongly of bleach (better than a dirty smell, but it was so strong! ) The toilet seat came off multiple times, the bed gave us both backache, the sign for the hotel was right outside our room and squeaked all night keeping us awake - when we mentioned it to the owner she seemed annoyed at us?? When I originally booked, I asked for decorations in the room because it was my partners birthday and got an email saying they’ll be happy to do it at no extra charge… when we got there there were no decorations to be seen (wish id have known because id have brought my own). For £184 a night I expected a comfier room, a reasonable nights sleep, and better customer service.
