Dinner and breakfast were good very pleasant young man served us. Good choice of food and nicely cooked

We were disappointed that when we came back to the room after the first night the bin had been emptied and tea and milk replaced but the bed hadn’t been made and the soaking wet towel we’d left on the floor to be changed was still there. We also didn’t like the shower. It was unsatisfactory that you had to climb in and out of the bath, there was no grab rail and the shower was an overhead drencher which meant you had to wash your hair whether or not you needed to. Simple shower caps need to be supplied and safety rail fitted.

everything from when we arrived to when we left was excellent, the locals welcomed us and our dog, to the point that a regular who didnt have a dog kept treats with him to give to visiting dogs, I only met him once and never got his name, but he made us welcome an accepted from te word go. the room was perfect and all the staff went the extra mile to make our stay memorable, we will go back again as soon as we can. Even the other guests seemed to know that it was required to be friendly and welcoming to everybody.

I cant honestly say it could have been better, unless we were offered free drinks for the entirety of our stay, just kidding, not needed.

Excellent food, location and staff.

Hotel bedrooms were very dated and are in need of upgrading , including heating system that woke everything up on two occasions.
