The property was beautiful. I stayed there for a work trip and loved being at the pool, gym was small but functional. Room was spacious and comfy. Breakfast was very good. My fave part of the morning. Also location was relatively close to where I needed to be for work and the little waterfront area. If you stay- you have to hit up the Philipino place in the next building. It was such yummy food.
It was a easy from airport. One for distance and then the traffic was crazy busy. Plan for that. Also, gym has good equipment. It’s a little bit crowded so it’s hard to find floor space without being in the way of people walking around.

I stayed at Sea Cliff for three nights in the Amani Suite, and overall, it was a wonderful experience, with several outstanding highlights that made my stay truly memorable.
The Highlights
The ocean view is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up in the morning or relaxing in the evening with the ocean just a few metres away is an extraordinary experience. The bathtub positioned in front of the window is another fantastic feature, allowing guests to enjoy a warm bath while watching the waves roll in. With a glass of wine in hand, it creates an incredibly relaxing and luxurious atmosphere.
The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The living room ambience was equally inviting, while the balcony overlooking the swimming pool was simply beautiful.
The dining experience at Karambezi Café, the oceanfront restaurant, was phenomenal. The food was outstanding, and the setting right by the ocean made every meal special. The option to order selected dishes during the night was another excellent touch, offering a level of convenience that is truly appreciated.
Housekeeping deserves special recognition. The Amani Suite was impeccably clean throughout my stay, with daily housekeeping maintaining an excellent standard. The location of the suite in relation to the pool was also very convenient, and the massage treatment I experienced was outstanding.
Areas for Improvement
Despite the many positive aspects, a few technical issues should be addressed to bring the overall experience in line with the property’s high standards.
The bathtub drain does not seal properly, causing the water to drain away too quickly. This significantly affects the experience, particularly given that the bathtub and ocean view are such attractive features of the suite. Additionally, the hot water supply seems to have limitations. When filling the bathtub, the water temperature does not remain consistently hot, and the hot water available at the shower can become noticeably less hot. This is an area that would benefit from technical inspection and improvement.
Another point concerns the availability and positioning of electrical outlets. There are very few sockets in the bedroom, with none conveniently located on one side of the bed or near the mirror and washbasin. This makes it difficult to use appliances such as a hairdryer or other electrical devices comfortably. Providing additional, conveniently positioned outlets would make the suite considerably more practical for guests.
Final Thoughts
Sea Cliff has an exceptional setting, beautiful ocean views, outstanding food, comfortable accommodation, excellent housekeeping, and wonderful wellness facilities. These qualities make it a very special place to stay.
With a few relatively straightforward technical improvements, particularly regarding the bathtub, hot water supply, and electrical outlets, the overall guest experience could be even better.
I thoroughly enjoyed my three-night stay at Sea Cliff, and I hope these observations will be helpful in maintaining and further enhancing the high standards of the property.
