Its a great location. Great accomadatiion which is comfortabale and clean. Staff and food were excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpfull even the local people .
Car park very small and no allocated spots for staying guests. There could sometimes be more noise than expected for some people. Especially when you would have thought it should be quiet

This is a gem of a place ,staff absolutely amazing,we stayed just one night as was in area for business but would happily have stayed longer .food is absolutely fantastic also ,you will not leave here hungry and what a selection on the menu ,dinner was fabulous and so was breakfast, will stay here again when in the area , comfortable bed also ,we had our Labrador with us and the staff and other guests were great with him also . Such a beautiful area so we will have to stay here again but for longer . When it’s full of friendly locals ,need I say anymore, you know it’s a great place to meet up.
Nothing at all to complain about .

In a lovely location, lovely oldy worldy pub, food was lovely on the evening as well, good selection of ales
The bar staff on the evening were lovely and friendly
Rooms were dated,
The duvet and pillows were lumpy and long overdue for a change
Beds were uncomfortable and the room was absolutely freezing,
There was a blow heater in the room,
Unfortunately I have chronic health conditions which these heaters exacerbate my health,
There was no blind in the bathroom,
One of the pains was clear glass, so couldn’t have a shower on the evening
Breakfast was really bad, stone cold, apart from the egg that was warm, unfortunately it was snotty and definitely should not have been served like that
the server on the morning was less than helpful, the food was clearly not cooked fresh but she was trying to argue with me to state that it was,
I wasn’t about to argue with her,
Coffee came out in a cafetière, not sure why as it wasn’t filter coffee, it was weak and no coffee grounds whatsoever,
Overall a really disappointing stay
