Loved the room. Very friendly staff

The room was clean and cozy, the breakfast was fine, there was a vast variety of fresh food, and even a fresh cup of coffee.
It’s really close to the Beanale - between the Arsenale and the Giardini. Close to a variety of bars and restaurants and supermarkets.
A bit small, but enough for a couple coming to enjoy the city.

We were really impressed by the comfort of the hotel. It’s a much older hotel but exceptionally clean and the breakfast was great. The best was the staff.
Nothing.

The Hotel is definitely on the cheaper side for Venice, but you can tell why, the whole Hotel is getting tired. We actually didn't mind being a little bit away from the action on this visit as we spent a fair bit of time over on Lido, and there are a few Vaporetto stops very close by but it will take you a while to reach some of the more popular parts of Venice on either the ferry or walking. The room was clean and of an ok size but the room facilities are basic.
Having to leave your room key at the desk each time you go out no matter the time of day and they lock the front door overnight so you can't leave of your own accord - they must unlock it for you. The staff are ok, but definitely don't expect anyone to really go above and beyond here. There was a ferry strike announced for the day we were due to check out and we couldn't get any info or assistance from the staff on the desk. They actually gave us incorrect information which we thankfully managed to confirm elsewhere!
