The Evenhill

Nice room, good furnishings, comfy bed. Great shower, anti- slip mat in bath. Good tea/coffee facilities, decent size mugs, fridge. Staff friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast options.

GB News on the TV everywhere!

I enjoyed my one night staff at the Evenhill. The location was great, enjoyed having somewhere to park my car. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet in the morning was lovely along. Didn’t have much interaction with staff as I checked in late at night and left early morning, but I’m sure they are lovely. Had no issues. Would happily stay again

The hotel would benefit with more information provided to guests on arrival about what’s on at the pub connected to hotel.

We only stayed overnight, but everything was above what we expected: plenty of parking available, the room was clean and comfy, away from the pub, so very quiet (we managed to get a proper night's sleep). The breakfast is included, but we had to leave very early, so the hosts prepared us packed breakfasts the night before so we wouldn't go hungry :) All in all, a very pleasant experince, thank you!

Breakfast was good

The meet and greet could have been warmer and more welcoming. The towels in the en-suite had an unpleasant smell, and the restaurant felt quite cold during my visit. The main menu was not particularly to my taste, although I did enjoy the breakfast. There was also a significant amount of mould around the first-floor bedroom windows, which would benefit from attention. The outdoor seating area / beer garden could do with a tidy up.
