A perfect hotel. I return whenever in Munich. Perfect location, cozy atmosphere, amazing and helpful staff.

Everything is cool here. It’s old fashioned. Which I love. The pillows are feather, the rooms are big. I had a bath. Staff are interested and kind. As a side note I have a small hotel myself and have lived all over. For the money this delivered great value. This is my second visit to a Carlton and was super happy with the charm. I stayed during the October festival and at the price I paid was totally worth it. During these days of poorly made chrome chairs and poor fabrics in other hotels this one stands out. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Please note if you are into modern furniture and are obsessively clean it might not be the right fit.
Nothing could have been better. Perhaps a plug socket closer to the bed but really everything was great.

Location
There is no fan in the room. No AC and can get very stuffy. No electrical outlet next to the bed. Hairdryer was not working. Phone not working. No water kettle in the room. The over all experience was very basic for the price charged.
