The proximity of this hotel to the old town is perfect. 5 min walk from the closest u bahn and tram station/stop, and about a 5-10 minute walk to Marienplatz. The room was very comfortable and a good size for two people.
Two single duvets for a double bed set up was not ideal. A double duvet would have been better and added to comfort.

My stay at Hotel Altmünchen was truly a pleasure.
First and foremost, the location is unbeatable , making it very easy to explore the city.
The team deserves special praise: everyone was welcoming, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms and common areas were clean, tidy, and impeccably maintained. I would gladly stay here again on my next trip to Munich
