About this bed and breakfast
Residenza Antica Roma dates back to 1594 and was once a monastery. It is 165 yards from the Barberini Metro stop and just round the corner from the Trevi Fountain.

Property was well located

The location was top notch and the room was clean and nicely decorated, but small. Bathroom facilities were good, and shower was of adequate size (not always a guarantee in Europe). The hotel was able to arrange a car for us to the airport with no bother at all, which was very convenient. The included breakfast was very good.
It would have been nice to have an in room coffee maker (nespreesso, keurig or similar). The breakfast was great, but you did have to go to a separate building across the street. Not a big deal though. The bed was overall comfortable, but it was somewhat noticeable that it was a split mattress.

Location is brilliant - barely 6 to 14min to most main attractions. (Heaps of food shops within 1min). Staff are all amazing. The room “size” makes it a comfortable stay.
It’s called Antica for a reason, so it’s old but comfortable because of room size. We have stayed 3 times over 3 years
