The view was beautiful.
Very nice and helpful staff.
Great breakfast.
The room should have plugs near the bed.

The staff were polite. The room I was given had a spectacular view of the beach and ocean. It is quite an old hotel and maybe needs refurbishment but it is lovely. Location is great if you are looking to stay in other places than funchal. Parking can be found at the top of the hill of the hotel for free.
Nothing really only it needs a touch of change to a bit more nowadays style.

My flight home was cancelled at midnight, I managed to get a last minute room at this hotel. Very kind and helpful in a personal crisis with nowhere to stay. Lovely location, clean, tidy, good facilities, next to a lovely sandy beach. Made an excellent day spent there!

Location and view from the room is brilliant
It’s extremely tired to be honest and needs some serious updating. No gym either which is poor in todays world.
