We stayed in the private room. The room & the house was spacious, clean and comfortable! Although the bathrooms were shared, it never felt crowded even though the whole guesthouse was completely booked out.
The location even though a bit far, you are in a peaceful rural area with restaurants nearby.
Highly recommend anyone staying here to visit Hida No Sato museum which is 5min by walk.
The host was super helpful & even offers a free shuttle to the railway station! :)

Location, welcoming hospitality of the owner and the free shuttle service options to town in the morning

The property was beautiful! The views from our room were so incredible, our window opened to a view of the whole city/town and then the alps in the horizon. The owner was so kind and helpful as well! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Takayama!
The property is on top of a small hill and about a 15 minute walk away from where all the restaurants are, but I think it is totally worth the walk for the views and the accommodation!

This was the most economical place I have stayed. The bathrooms were clean.
It was about 2km walk to anything interesting
