The staff were quite friendly and helpful. The housekeepers leave small gifts every day which is nice. The room was clean, although did have reasonably strong remnant odors of cigarette smoke, which isn't unusual for China.
I know this is a China wide thing, but once the air conditioning has been switched to heat mode for winter, be prepared for a very warm room. My room was consistently 25 deg C, no matter what I changed on the air con settings. The staff were able to provide me with a portable fan that helped somewhat.
The location of the hotel is also something I wish I had considered more closely before booking. It is close to multiple metro stations, which is good, but there is very little in terms of restaurant or bar options in the immediate vicinity. This didn't suit me, but may suit others.

The location is really at the central. I am very grateful too that the staff allowed me to check in early as we had midnight flight, so we were quite tired. The breakfast spread is good. Some suggestions to try: the lamb dumpling (think this is their specialty), durian puff, and the cookies (Earl Grey tea).

Very clean modern hotel, great king size bed and good sized room in a central location. Breakfast buffet had a good selection and there are restaurants within the hotel that looked popular. Housekeeping staff were very attentive and always kept the room stocked with water and toiletries and anything else they thought we might need
The hotel is near a food and shopping area but it is on the other side of a busy highway so it is a bit inconvenient to walk
