Location was fantastic
When we read the booklet about the hotel we were excited about eating in the restaurant as it said they had a Michelin Star Chef Martin Myberg however this turned out to be the worst meal we have had in South Africa on our trip of 5 weeks so far. I had the hake which was inedible poor taste and grey texture, on investigation I check with the Michelin Star website and could not fine any Martin Myberg so I would take this statement in the booklet with a pinch of salt

We had a wonderful stay at The Point Hotel & Spa. What truly made our experience special was the incredible staff, every person we met was friendly, kind, welcoming and genuinely willing to go the extra mile.
And we certainly cannot forget the wonderful breakfast every morning! A special thank you to the breakfast team for their friendly service and for starting each day with such a welcoming smile.
To everyone at The Point Hotel & Spa, thank you for making our stay so memorable. Your kindness and hospitality are truly appreciated.
There are a few signs of wear and tear around the hotel & room we stayed in . The bedding and pillows could perhaps do with a refresh, especially for comfort. That said, everything was spotlessly clean and tidy, and the lovely, friendly staff really made our stay special.
