We loved staying here: smooth check-in and check-out, strong water pressure and internet signal, hot shower just like the way we expected, great communication via What’s App, clean and sensibly decorated room with the GREAT view of the city, not to mention the convenience proximity from and to the train station. Also appreciated the water and snacks that were included in our stay. They also responsibly stored our luggage and bags until we headed to the train station.
It’s located in a heavily touristy area, so be aware of your own safety in the area. Soggiorno Rubino itself was a very safely secured place.

The location is excellent. Everything was great. It was a double story room with a bathroom downstairs, which didn’t worry me, but may be inconvenient for some. The upside is that the bedroom was literally overlooking the major sites of Florence. It felt like the ultimate Italian experience. I was on my own, but it would be an incredibly romantic room for a couple. Just make sure you pick the room with the breathtaking view.
