After hours check in very easy via lockbox. Despite other reviews, my room was spotlessly clean. Split system and shower were great. Spacious room and kitchen.
Uncomfortable bed, could feel springs. No doona, instead a top sheet, thin blanket in the middle and another sheet on top - this was fine as it is currently hot, but something to request during winter would be more blankets. No lamps so I used rangehood light as a lamp. I messaged reception to request a mattress topper and doona but no response however it was already 11pm so this is understandable. Only 1 mug, 1 teaspoon. 2 of each utensil/cup should be standard and not treated as a special request.

Nice apartment. Clean and well serviced.
Some facilities. I was staying for 17 days and would have cooked for myself. But the only saucepan was so big it could have preserved jam 😡 No other size saucepans available. I needed a spatula for my breakfast. Not available but the staff took one from another apartment. I think you just need to check these minor things.

Location was good, a quiet neighbourhood in North Melbourne with accessible tram stops and a really lovely cafe just around the corner. The owner of the place is a top gentleman, very good to talk to.
The bed was very uncomfortable, there was no water kettle in the room, the remotes (TV and A/C) where either damaged or not working at all.
