We actually moved to the Scallywags resort/beach club. This is where you get your breakfast. Once we got to smugglers we realised it’s about a 9 minute walk. We walked there, and decided we liked to be beach front so upgraded to the resort. The hotel staff made this really easy.
However I can never fault Scallywags on Gili Air or Gili T. Really lovely rooms, breakfast is good, restaurant is lovely.
I did not love the swimming pool in Scallywags resort it’s right by the bar and seemed never used I think this is due to the location and it being so dark. Owners should look at giving the pool at the resort a new decor.

Well designed nice room with working desk, premium filtered water for the whole stay without leaving the room, private terrace, clean pool. Really liked having a good breakfast on the beach then staying at the beach club for the whole morning. Central location, close to everything, still quiet at night.
AC was dirty and loud in my room. Hairdryer was very weak, close to useless.

You had to walk from Scallywag smugglers to Scallywag beach bar for breakfast. This was excellent, but if you are catching an early ferry to Bali, Serangan, there is not enough time to get a breakfast. We improvised by getting muesli and milk from the M Mart, which worked well. Loved the no motorised transport, use a horse cart, e scooters or bike, but Scallywag smugglers is close enough to walk with a backpack easily. Swimming towels available from scallywag wag beach bar.
