A beautiful spot on the river. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. And everything worked! A popular place to eat so restaurant was buzzy. Food and drink options were good. Especially liked option to have smaller portion of main course. And great breakfast. Not cheap but great value. Staff helpful and friendly. Fun to have a live band in the bar too. A really good place to stay.

Really perfect weekend stop which exceeded expectations in every way possible. Particular thanks to all the staff members- every single one we encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food was also great (which made choosing very difficult!) and the entire place was the perfect combination of being lively, while the rooms remained quiet. Loved it and can’t wait to be back.
The only slight hitch we had is that the arrival/reception/dining room area is quite a busy bottleneck, and it’s quite hard to navigate with bags etc.
